Rope Rescue Operator (RRO) Workshop | 3 Days
- Requisite knowledge & skills covered:
- Scene size-up, hazard mitigation, and standard rescue verbal commands.
- Essential rescue knots, bends, and hitches.
- Construction of single- and multi-point anchor systems.
- Operating standard lowering systems and main/belay configurations.
- Patient packaging and low-angle/steep-edge management.

Rope Rescue Technician (RRT) Workshop | 3 Days
- Requisite knowledge & skills covered:
- Deep dive into systemic forces, critical angles, and calculating system safety factors.
- Advanced personal on-rope skills: ascending, descending, change-overs, and passing knots through systems.
- High-angle victim “pick-offs” and suspended-rescuer mid-air transfers.
- Vertical litter rigging and duties of the litter attendant/tender.
- Introduction to simple artificial high directionals (AHDs) and dynamic lowering-to-raising conversions.

All participants can expect to receive a Rigging for Rescue Certificate of Completion.
